c.a.r.e. is a United Way Agency whose mission is to “strengthen and preserve families while protecting children from abuse and neglect”. Since 1976, c.a.r.e. has offered programs to keep families together and break the cycle of child abuse. c.a.r.e. offers parent education classes, children and youth programs, home visitation, SafeTouch; a body safety program, and careHouse; a supervised visitation center.
